I’m a Canadian neuroscientist that studies the neurobiology of psychiatric issues and their treatment.
I was born in Eastern Canada, and completed a BSc and PhD at McGill University in Montréal, Québec, the latter in the McGill Group for Suicide Studies at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute, with Dr. Naguib Mechawar as my mentor. I then moved to Boston, Massachusetts to work with Dr. Ann McKee at Boston University, studying the etiology of psychiatric features of chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) and other neurodegenerative conditions.
